Order of Tarzan Books
Tarzan is a fictional character created by American author Edgar Rice Burroughs. Tarzan is an orphaned feral child who was raised by apes. After growing up, he meets Jane Porter, who he falls in love with. Tarzan is one of the best-known characters in literature and has appeared in nearly 100 films, two radioplays, several television shows, stageplays, video games and many other sorts of media.
Tarzan made his first appearance in the novel Tarzan of the Apes in 1912. The series consists of 24 official books, along with several authorized and unauthorized sequels. Below is a list of the official Tarzan books by Edgar Rice Burroughs in order of when they were originally published:
