Continuing to develop both her style and tone throughout the years, she would come back to her passion for reading time and time again. Focusing on a keen interest in paranormal romance novels, she would refine and hone her own unique approach to the genre.

Constantly on the lookout for a new and exciting idea, she’s always drawing inspiration from the world around her. Putting everything back into her work, she also spends her free-time hiking and being outdoors, camping in the mountains near to her. Currently living in Denver, she continues to regularly write to this very day, as she lives with her partner, and has a lot more to come yet.

Writing Career

The first book that Serena Meadows would publish was titled ‘Justin,’ and this would also be the first in the series of ‘Fairplay Shifters’ novels. Using the paranormal romance as her primary genre template, Meadows would also bring in elements of romance into her work. This interesting hybrid of genres would really work, making for a successful combination that readers the world over would enjoy.

Other series that she would go on to write would include ‘Wolves of Gypsum Creek,’ ‘Dragons Secret Society,’ and ‘Daddy Wolves of the Wild’ to name just a few. These books would prove to be hugely successful, as she’d write several other fantasy paranormal romance series in a similar vein. There have also been omnibus editions of her work too, reaching readers far and wide, as her reach continues to rapidly grow.

Dalton

Originally brought out on the Kindle platform back in 2018, this would first come out on the 3rd of December to much acclaim. Providing the fifth title in the ongoing ‘Fairplay Shifters’ series of novels, it would follow on from ‘Steven,’ whilst paving the way for the sixth, ‘Daniel.’ This science-fiction alien romance story doesn’t necessarily need to be read in order, as the books themselves are self-contained, although they are set in the same universe.

Once his heart was filled entirely with love, but recently that’s turned sour and bitter, as Dalton’s fighting evil. Meeting him by chance at the airport, Melody finds she can’t fight her own thoughts and fantasies of this mysteries and handsome stranger. Facing problems of his own, Dalton needs to return a talisman to the coven after his sister has brought a new set of issues for them all. Can he manage it safely, will Melody find her mysterious stranger, and what, in the end, will become of Dalton?

There’s a lot more romance than action here as opposed to the other books in the series, but it’s a great addition to the series as a whole. Really capturing the essence of the previous novels, its a fun and engaging story that really involves the reader in its intricate world-building. With a rich and evocative atmosphere there’s a lot to enjoy here, as it brings the world to life, developing both the style and overall tone.

Mountain Wolf Playboy

First published on the Kindle platform in 2019, this was initially released on the 8th of September, setting up the third title in the ‘Daddy Wolves of The Wild’ series. Following on from the previous books, it manages to provide another stand-alone romance set in the same fantasy world as before. Using elements of science-fiction the books can technically be picked up in any order, but there’s plenty for returning fans to enjoy.

Previously working in a military sect travelling and seeing sights he’d rather forget, Nick has been work as part of the government’s shifters. Now his friend Nick offers him a job allowing him to let go of the past, whilst Jordan is hoping to embark on an adventure, escaping her childhood home. That’s when something comes up from the past surprising them both, and their hopes of rebuilding their friendship are scuppered for the time being. Will they get to overcome this obstacle in their way, can they face the future and put their pasts behind them, and what will become of the mountain wolf playboy?

There’s a few steamy scenes here, and it’s easy to read, making it a more than accessible and casual read for any fans of the genre and author. Keeping the reader hooked throughout, the characters themselves are really well drawn, really allowing the audience to invest themselves in their romance. It also paves the way for more to come, and it’s best that the books are read in order to really enjoy the series as a whole.
