Francesca Penn
When Francesca Penn is not busy writing, she can be found hounding her loved ones with various “What If?” scenarios. Since she is a true closet romantic, she’s prone to filling up the DVR with Hallmark movies. A friend once told her that she had trained the entire 20 plus years that she had known her to write romance since her nose was always in some love story.
As she was obtaining her Technical Writing degree, a creative writing course, and a playwriting elective reawakened her desires to create stories. Her mind lives in fiction; even the songs that she listens to become music videos in her mind.
She believes that love is colorblind and plans on providing a combination of couples of different ethnicities and races because, to her, men are like Skittles, and we all know their motto.
“Take It” is the first novel in the “Sinclairs” series and was released in 2018. Kalilah Wright haunted his dreams and was starring in his dirtiest fantasies. Nicholas Sinclair (office recluse) decided he should just confront the person that was watching him in the Sinclair Enterprises parking lot. He was fed up with being stalked. He was met with the unexpected once he finds he is staring right into the eyes of the only woman that makes him want, well, everything.
It did not matter whether she was dressed in a tailored and just tight enough business suit or filling out jeans which made him weak, he knew exactly how the night would end. With her in his dreams.
Executive Kalilah Wright is a no-nonsense business woman with a wild side. She took on the work which came her way from Andrew Sinclair, who is her engaging, handsome, and very married “I love my wife” boss. Her work ethic fostered this relationship which kept her on the corporate ladder of success. However she wanted more than just designer apparel and a fat bank account from it all. She also wanted a mate, she wanted the guy in the parking lot.
Nicholas has got a secret which asks every question, while Kalilah has got all of the answers. What he pitches to her can just be taken one way. Kalilah is up to this challenge, however is Nicholas going to complete this journey?
“Spring Summer Falling” is the first novel in the “Summer Boyfriend” series and was released in 2019. A baby on the way and a woman on his mind. It isn’t the pregnant one.
Henri Zidane has got a dilemma: honor his commitment or get to know the quirky HR manager that cornered him in the stairwell. He has got a baby on the way with a woman that he does not trust, and continues to ask himself how any of it happened. Not the how, actually more the why of everything. Why is it that even with every precaution that he used, he still is going to be a dad before he is a husband? No, he is not about to marry Cassie. However just a single look into Sanya’s big brown eyes has got him agreeing to things that he would typically turn down, and one unexpected twist has got them spending a bunch of time together which makes it even tougher to ignore the heat that is growing between the two of them.
Sanya Shaw (quirky and cute) has got an ax to grind and Henri (the super fit engineer) is the key, Sanya hopes, to her looming predicament. She needs to fit into her dress in order to save face in front of a wedding party that she despises. Weight loss isn’t a joke, and she needs the real deal in order to help her meet her goal. She might not be able to blow her commitment off to be a bridesmaid for her ex’s cousin without coming off as petty, even if her jerk of an ex brings The Petty. However she can take the freshly single and super sexy Henri along for the ride.
This racy weekend on the beach permanently shifts the dynamic of their friendship, Sanya and Henri learn that what began as a fitness journey has got them falling in ways that neither one of them had anticipated.
“Accidental Heat” is the first novel in the “Quick and Dirty” series and was released in 2019. Vera has heard everything. All the variations on the phrase “stuff happens” is her life’s motto. As the poster child for Murphy’s Law, she gets in trouble way more than she cares to mention. Opting to just own it, she marches through town with her head held up high and her bruises on display. One unfortunate run-in with this tree has got her retreating in order to lick her wounds. Ignoring her now ex-boyfriend, she decides to focus on honing her cooking techniques and ignoring the entire world.
Since disaster is her boyfriend at this point, it is not too long before yet another mishap brings her face-to-face with Levi Gianni, her recurring wet-dream. The former prom king and resident heart throb just happens to moonlight as a volunteer firefighter. Even though he might’ve doused the flames that she had created by accident, he has ignited something far hotter. She only needs him to know that she is one risk worth taking.
“Oh, Christmas Fling” is the first novel in the “Holiday Boyfriends” series and was released in 2023. Jeremy is a hard working, single, and sexy man, at least according to the ladies. His recent ascent to the helm of his parents’ hotel corporation means that he has so little time for frivolous encounters. Critics have already pegged him as being too young for such responsibility, which means keeping his name out of the papers in unsavory lights is pretty much a necessity. Jeremy has no time for love. Then, this one cold night in Alaska happens and it changes everything.
Carlee has a ridiculously attractive boss. So she’s heard anyway. She tends to not notice things like this about upper management. She is committed to her job. She is respected by her colleagues and peers. She keeps a professional and clean approach to her career, and wants to excel by her own merit. Carlee travels for the Masters Hotel Group as an interventionist, and her work is rather memorable. Apparently her body is as well. Jeremy Masters opens his door covering up his damp body without anything more than a towel, her whole world turns upside down.
