The “Tiffany Black Mysteries” are a set of mystery novels by bestselling mystery author AR Winters. The author has made a name for herself writing cozy mysteries in vibrant locations and people with crazy characters. She has also been known for including a lot of delicious food recipes in her works.
She loves watching movies and TV series about heists, crime capers and mysteries. When she is not writing her novels, she is usually too busy enjoying a good laugh or eating cake.
Winters wrote “Innocent in Las Vegas” her debut novel in 2013, which spawned more than two dozen novels.
AR Winters’ “Tiffany Black Mysteries” tells the story of a woman named Tiffany Black. She lives in a small apartment near the casino where she works in Las Vegas.
Her grandmother and parents also live nearby. She is closer to her grandmother than her parents as she liked the feisty and gutsy nature of her Nanna, even as her mother believes she is up to no good.
At the beginning of the novel, Tiffany is working to get into the private investigations business. Her first case is that of former stripper Sophie Baker who has been charged with killing her very wealthy husband.
In the second novel of the series “Green Eyes in Las Vegas” sees Tiffany and her Nanna working on the case of a murdered Hollywood star and a missing Van Gogh that seem to be related.
In the third novel of the series, “Red Roses in Las Vegas,” Nana finds herself in trouble with law. She has been accused of murdering her broker as she was last seen very upset with him after he lost a huge chunk of her money.
At the opening of the first novel of the “Tiffany Black Mysteries” “Innocent in Las Vegas,” we are introduced to Tiffany Black. She has always wanted to become a private investigator and she finally has her chance.
She is working on the case of a former stripper named Sophie Baker, that has been accused of murdering her very wealthy husband. The dead man had been the owner of one of the most successful casinos in town named the Riverbelle casino.
Over the years, he had numerous affairs and this was clearly a motive if the police wanted to charge Sophie. Moreover, when the police rummaged through her dresser they had found the murder weapoon in it.
It looks like an open and shut case, even though Sophie maintains her innocence. She believes she is going to have a lot of fun only to realize she is in over her head. She has to deal with corrupt casino henchmen, secretive suspects and her ex Special Forces Bodyguard.
The latter is built like a tank and talks little even though he is the best in the business. When she takes him home her parents assume they are together despite her protests to the contrary. What follows is non stop action as Tiffany chases down leads and suspects, even as she starts falling in love.
“Green Eyes In Las Vegas” is the second novel of the “Tiffany Black Mysteries.” At the opening of the novel, Tiffany had been witness to a green eyed man fleeing from the scene of an art heist.
The case further complicates things for Tiffany, as she is also investigating the murder of a star from Hollywood and a missing piece of very valuable artwork. Soon after, the investigation takes an intriguing turn, even as she meets a mysterious man with mesmerizing green eyes.
Tiffany thinks there could be something about the man that connects him to both crimes. Meanwhile, Glenn, her octogenarian friend, starts going out with a very loose woman and Nanna starts dating a twenty something year old. Tiffany begins to think that she might not be so crazy dating a potential criminal.
The investigation goes from museums and movie sets as Tiffany gets into even more danger from a stalker that could have been responsible for the Hollywood starlet.
The third novel of the “Tiffany Black Mysteries” “Red Roses in Las Vegas” opens to the little and sweet old lady Nanna accused of a crime she insists she did not commit. But the cops are convinced she is culpable for Adam Bitzer’s murder.
She was planning on taking a break from private investigations but now finds herself in the thick of things to save her grandmother. Getting the help of her best friends Jack, Stone and Ian, she needs to find out the truth of what happened to Bitzer.
