Shannon Messenger is an American author of YA and children’s fantasy novels. She writes the Keeper of the Lost Cities and the Sky Fall series. Shannon graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts – only to discover that she preferred watching movies to actually making them. She has studied art, screenwriting and film production, but found her true passion was writing children’s stories. Shannon is both a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. She lives in Southern California with her husband and a growing number of cats.
