Rebekah R. Ganiere is an Emmy-nominated producer and screenwriter and bestselling author of romance, fantasy, and paranormal fiction.
While the author was raised on both the west and east coasts of the United States, she currently makes her home in Los Angeles.
Rebekah has said that she has always immersed herself in other people’s worlds as she read the likes of Stephen King’s “The Stand” and Shel Silverstein’s “Giving Tree.”
She got started writing when she was in junior high school, which is when she discovered that she liked playacting. Majoring in drama, she decided to also take theater in college.
Following graduation from college, she would act right up to the moment she became a mother. Ultimately, she decided she was better of writing the stories of her characters rather than acting them out.
Writing fiction was more enticing than acting, since she could stay at home and look after her kids.
In 2014, Rebekah published “Dead Awakenings,” which became a bestseller almost immediately. Over the years she has won many awards for the “Fairelle Series of Fairytale” retellings among other screenplays and books.
Similar to many of her contemporaries, Rebekah R. Ganiere has always loved to write. This is what informed her decision to write fiction when she became a mother and had a lot of time on her hands.
She was inspired to pen her debut novel since she was tired of hearing that there were hardly any good zombie romances. Still, she believed that zombie romances were gross, which partly explained why there were so few of them.
But she could not stop herself from thinking that she needed to write one zombie romance as she believed she could make it not so gross. It was this that resulted in the publishing of her debut novel in 2014.
As an author, she has been most influenced by the “Midnight Breed” series, “Dragonlance,” and “Alice in Wonderland” series.
Since she loves to read, Rebekah has been influenced by too many authors to list. However, some of her favorite authors include Lewis and Tolkien.
Outside of writing, Rebekah R. Ganiere is very active in the writing community.
She has been the president of the Paranormal and Futuristic Chapter, and vice president of communications at the Los Angeles Chapter of the Romance Writers of America and RWA Fantasy.
When she is not writing her novels, she can usually be found homeschooling, lounging with her husband, and driving her kids to auditions, coding, violin, fencing, parkour, gymnastics, ice skating, and dance classes.
As an animal person, she loves to spend a lot of time with her two lazy tortoises, three adorable guinea pigs, her murderous Bearded dragon, and her neurotic German Shepherd.
Still, her favorite pastime is speaking at Comic Cons all over the west coast and cosplaying with her family.
Rebekah R. Ganiere’s novel “Red the Were Hunter” is a compelling paranormal romance novel that introduces Redlynn of Volkzene.
One of the leading members of the Sisterhood of Red gets her heart broken when she learns that her best friend had been killed by werewolves while another girl was kidnapped.
Defying the orders of her superiors, she goes on a quest for revenge against the King of the werewolves. But in werewolf land, there are more dangerous things than just the wolves.
The king of the land is the reluctant Adrian who together with his band of brothers, has been bound to protect the Sisterhood and humans in general.
When he discovers Redlynn lying unconscious deep in the forest, it triggers in him a protective instinct and passion he has never experienced before. However, a female could just complicate his life even more than it had been.
But things are not as they seem in the woods and Adrian and Redlynn need to leave their inner demons and trust each other before time runs out. In their quest for vengeance, they might have to give up their deepest desires.
“Snow the Vampire Slayer” by Rebekah R. Ganiere is the story of Lady Snow Gwyn who is so done being the defacto mother to her seven vampire-killing siblings.
For the past two years, she has been yearning to join them out there as they hunt vampires in the night. She can fight just as well as any of them but she is not a Slayer though she believes that is nothing but a formality.
The Son of Lothar is Prince Sageren who has spent half a century in exile while he patiently waited to exact vengeance on his family and reclaim the throne.
Barely existing he has to face the monster he once was and his inner demons too. This makes him vow to never drink the blood of humans ever again, which is simple enough until he meets a woman he aches to drain.
On a late-night jaunt into the forest, Snow bumps into Prince Sage and finds herself torn between a strong desire for the emotions he has been stirring in her and the urge to finish him off.
When her life comes under the same threat that had killed his entire family Prince Sage has to team up with her brothers to help him regain his throne and save her life.
Rebekah R. Ganiere’s novel “Promised at the Moon” tells the story of Lord James Gwyn whose life was upended three years ago.
A woman had appeared at his family manor and informed him and his siblings that their fate was to be vampire killers.
Fearing for the safety of Scarlet his fiance he broke off his relationship and broke her heart. Scarlet Mason’s life and reputation had been ruined when she was abandoned by James.
She has since then been working hard to rebuild her esteem and identity. She is finally engaged to be married to a wealthy businessman. Even though she should be happy she mosses James the one man she has always loved.
When James comes to the celebrations, Scarlet’s life is once again turned upside down as she needs to decide between following her heart and her duty to her aunt.
On the other hand, a plan has been put in motion to get rid of the Gwyn Lords forever. James needs to do all in his power to ensure Scarlet’s safety even though all he wants is to be happy.
