Order of Peter Mayle Books

Peter Mayle (1939-2018) was a British author of non-fiction, picture books and general fiction novels. He worked for several years in the advertising business, working with director Alan Parker. Peter would then start writing sex education books and other educational books for children. Plans for a novel sent him from Devon, UK to Provence, France, but he ended up writing memoirs about life as a British expat living in the south of France. His novel A Good Year was adapted to film by Ridley Scott, starring Russell Crowe and Marion Cotillard.
Peter Mayle became a published author in 1973 with the non-fiction book Where Did I Come From?. His first novel was Expensive Habits, published in 1991. Below is a list of Peter Mayle’s books in order of when they were originally released:
