Order of Outlanders Books
The Outlanders is a series of science fiction novels written under the house name of James Axler and created by Mark Ellis. The series is set in the same universe as Axler’s Deathlands series, a century later. Chaos rules no longer on Earth and has been replaced by a government run by nine mysterious barons. Considered traitors to the cause of the barons, Kane and Grant were stripped of their citizenship and their duties as magistrates and joined Brigid Baptiste as Outlanders.
The Outlanders series began in 1997 with the novel Exile to Hell. The first eight novels in series were written entirely by Mark Ellis, who still writes many of the books that come out in the series today. Other writers who have worked on the series include Mel Odom, Victor Milan, Rik Hoskin and Douglas Wojtowicz. The series is currently ongoing, with four new novels being published each year.
