Oliver Potzsch is a German author of historical fiction. He is also a filmmaker. Oliver writes the Hangman’s Daughter series. He attended the German School of Journalism in the nineties, before going on to work for Radio Bavaria. Oliver Potzsch is a descendant of the Kusile, a dynasty of executioners that existed from the 16th century until the 19th century.
