Order of Noel B. Gerson Books

Noel Bertram Gerson (1914-1988) was an American author of largely historical fiction and non-fiction. An extremely prolific author, he wrote many biographies and biographical novels about many historical figures, such as Theodore Roosevelt, John Hancock, Sam Houston, Andrew Johnson, Henry Hudson, Mary Shelley, Captain John Smith and many others. He also wrote Western fiction under the house names Donald Clayton Porter and Dana Fuller Ross. His novels 55 Days at Peking and The Naked Maja were adapted to film.

Sex and the Adult Woman was co-authored with Ellen Birchall. Mohawk Ladder was also titled Sword of Fortune. Savage Gentleman was also titled Savage Cavalier. Several other titles were re-published under the pen names of Samuel Edwards or as Carter A. Vaughn.
