Order of L.M. Montgomery Books
Lucy Maud Montgomery (1874-1942) was a Canadian author of children’s literature, best known for her Anne of Green Gables series. The Anne of Green Gables series was adapted into several films, a TV series, cartoons and musicals. Her work, diaries and letters have been studied by both scholars and readers across the globe. Two of her houses and some of the nearby area have been designated National Historic Sites of Canada. Maud died from coronary thrombosis in 1942.
L.M. Montgomery wrote 20 novels and 500 short stories and poems during her career. The first of which was Anne of Green Gables, published in 1908. Below is a list of L.M. Montgomery’s books in order of when they were originally published (as well as in chronological order):
