Kristen Lepionka is an American author best known as the author of the Roxane Weary mystery series of books.
Her debut book was called The Last Place You Look and it won the Shamus Award for Best First P.I. novel. She has also received nominations for both the Anthony Award and the Macavity Award. She also had a love for reading and mysteries, spending a lot of time at her local public library. She started reading the adult mystery novels before she was out of middle school and that lifelong love of the genre helped her in her career as an author.
