Julia has been writing about crime since 2004 when she was sent by Seventeen to cover a murder of a girl at the hands of her mother. Additionally, she has worked as a freelance reporter for the New York Post, as the deputy managing editor for The Crime Report, and for CBSNews.com. Julia lives in Brooklyn, New York.
