Jess Mastorakos
Jess Mastorakos writes sweet military romance novels which feature strong women and heroes with heart. She’s a proud Marine wife and mother of four.
She loves planning with an erasable pen and her coffee in a glitter tumbler.
“Back to You” is the first novel in the “San Diego Marines” series and was released in 2019. Spencer’s biggest mistake? Kissing his best friend. He has never been a relationship sort of guy. Sure, he’s got Ellie, his best friend dating back to middle school who has been by his side through good and the very bad, but with girls that aren’t Ellie? One date is plenty.
Then when he returns from boot camp, a single kiss changes it all. However nothing has changed, too. Ellie is still looking to settle down with kids and a picket fence, and she knows that Spencer does not. Now there is heat when she looks at him in his new uniform. It makes him start wondering if he didn’t that sort of life, or if he just didn’t want it with anybody but her.
However Spencer has made one mistake after the next with Ellie, so now he must convince her that it is okay to want him too.
“Treasured in Turtle Bay” is the first novel in the “Christmas in Snow Hill” series and was released in 2021. It’s all fun and games until their fake relationship begins sparking real feelings. Molly Whitman’s carefully arranged life unravels once her fiance dumps her just before their wedding. Now she is headed off to Hawaii on the honeymoon of a lifetime. Alone.
Roman Russo, a helicopter Crew Chief, has never thought of himself as a knight in shining armor. However once Molly forgets about canceling some honeymoon activities and needs somebody to stand in as her husband, he is right there to save the day for her.
With three weeks of sun, sand, and sightseeing, and armed with her fake husband, Molly intends on forgetting the past and moving forward. However is pretending to be married to this handsome Marine clouding her vision of the future?
“A Match for the Marine” is the first novel in the “First Comes Love” series and was released in 2021. First rule of being a matchmaker: never fall in love with your client.
After Amy worked her way to the top, she is in the running to become the CEO of Southern California’s premier matchmaking service. All she has to do is outmatch her conniving co-worker. Maintaining her perfect track record shouldn’t be a problem, particularly since her client is a hot Marine with a killer smile and bulging biceps. Matching him with somebody should be easy as pie.
Dex, unfortunately, is none too thrilled about his meddling mom signing him up for Amy’s services. He seems to be more interested in Amy than any of the dates she sets up for him. However she’ll not allow this gorgeous gunny get in the way of achieving her life’s goal. Doesn’t matter how adorkable and dashing he might be.
“Blind Date For the Marine” is the second novel in the “First Comes Love” series and was released in 2021. Blind dating in the digital age. What could possibly go wrong? When Mateo’s best friend asks her to test out his new dating app, he isn’t sure it’s such a good idea. He’s moving out of the country in six months, after all. What would be the point? However he insists that it’s just to help him out, so Mateo gives it a shot. Plus, the mystery of it is sorta fun. There aren’t any photos until you have been talking for thirty days, so it is all about your connection.
What he never expected was to hit it off immediately with this bookish charmer on the app at the same time as somebody pretty similar in real life. Two women? Why couldn’t this have happened when Mateo was not all set to leave?
Now that he thinks about it more, BookishDreamer from the app does remind him of Claire from the real world, wouldn’t it be crazy if they were actually the same exact person? No, what are the odds of that?
“No Place Like Home” is the first novel in the “Love in Charlotte Oaks” series and was released in 2023. This high school reunion WON’T result in Laney reuniting with the love of her life. Right?
Going back to Charlotte Oaks for her high school reunion is pretty much the last thing Laney wants to do. Not because she doesn’t miss her quirky family or the even quirkier town that she grew up in, but it’s because of the man whose heart she broke is going to be there, and Laney knows without a doubt that facing him after all of this time is going to be torturous.
So she just plans on avoiding Everett like the plague, do the reunion, and then head on back to Nashville where she belongs. Except, she has not felt as though she belongs there in such a long time now.
Then, her plans to avoid Everett crashes and burns all around her once she literally crashes her car on her way into town, and he rides in like a knight on a shining tow truck to save her. Looking even hotter than ever in his mechanic’s jumpsuit, she might add.
However the heat that is in his eyes when he looks at her has just as much bitterness as it does longing, and all she wants to do is make his pain go away. Because no matter how much fortune and fame wait for her back in Nashville, there’s no place like home. And Everett Wilson has been hers.
This is the first novel in the “Love in Charlotte Oaks” series, where you will find families just as sweet as the tea, hot veterans that have returned to find their true love, and a beloved pet goat that has the habit of coming in clutch in order to save the day.
