“True Believer” is the second novel in the “James Reece” series and was released in the year 2019. James’ cunning, skill, and heroism put the United States government back into his debt and set him on yet another path of revenge.

When a series of gruesome terrorist attacks plagues the Western world in the midst of the holiday season, and pushes the broader markets fall down into a tailspin. The attacks have been coordinated by some shadowy ex-Iraqi commando that has vanished into Europe’s underground. The US government has an asset that can turn the Iraqi against his masters, and the most wanted domestic terrorist alive, James Reece.

After Reece avenges the deaths of his team and family members, he emerges deep within the wilds of Mozambique, kept safe by his estranged former SEAL member and best friend’s family of. When a sequence of events reveals his whereabouts, he is recruited by the CIA, giving Reece a Presidential pardon as well as immunity for the buddies that aided him in his vengeance mission.

Reece, who is now a reluctant tool of the United States government, travels around the globe, targeting the terrorist leaders and unraveling the geopolitical conspiracy that exposes one traitorous CIA officer and reveals an assassination plot with global repercussions.

Readers found this to be a high intensity roller coaster ride, and explodes with authenticity and action that cements Jack as a new leader in political thrillers. “Savage Son” is the third novel in the “James Reece” series and was released in the year 2020. James has to infiltrate the Russian mafia and turn the hunters and make them the hunted. Deep within the Siberian wilds of, one woman is on the run, being pursued by some man who has secrets, one that is intent on murdering her. One traitorous CIA officer has found safe haven with the Russian mafia with designs on ensuring that a certain ex-Navy SEAL sniper is buried in the ground.

Half of the world away, James recovers from brain surgery in the Montana wilderness. He slowly putting his life back together with the aid of Katie Buranek, an investigative journalist, and Raife Hastings, SEAL teammate and longtime friend. Unbeknownst to all of them, the Russian mafia has set their sights on James in a lethal game of cat and mouse.

In Jack’s most heart pounding and visceral thriller novel to date, explores humanity’s darkest instincts through the eyes of a guy that has seen both the worst and best of it. Carr takes tremendous care in the minute details when describing ballistics, weapons, and battle.
