Gwyn Cready is a female RITA-winning funny romance author. She has been branded the master of time travel romance. She is an alumnus of the University of Chicago where she attained an MBA in marketing and a BA in English literature. She worked for 25 years in brand management after which she became a full-time author. She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, son, daughter and their adorable dog.

Gwyn Cready is known for her romantic books where she published her first book in 2010 titled Tumbling through Time. In her second hilarious romance novel, titled Seducing Mr. Darcy, Gwyn Cready introduces Flip Allison a divorcee suffering from carnal deprivation. She then visits Madame K. who assures her of a therapeutic massage that will give her an opportunity to imagine herself in her favorite book. Ellery Sharpe a snobbish book critic ends up screwing up a reputable magazine and in return her boss ends up punishing her. Her punishment being, to write an ode to romance novels, this is a genre that Ellery compares to word search puzzles. To add salt to the injury her boss also hires her ex to take the required photo shoots. This is one drama romance novel that you cannot afford to miss.

Gwyn Cready then published another thrilling romance novel titled timeless desire in July 2012. An overworked librarian, Panna Kennedy battles for two years to get over the grief of losing her husband. During one of her routine searches Panna happens to open a door locked with a padlock only for it lead her to the irresistible book-filled quarters of a charming 18th century Englishman. She then recognizes the Englishman as Colonel J. Bridgewater, a man who she has his statue on her desk. However his life is not as elegant as she had pictured it, since he is under house arrest for betraying England. As much as Bridgewater views Panna as a spy, he slowly woes her to his escape and in the process their hearts end up entangled, resulting to Panna facing the difficult decision of having to chose where exactly her loyalties lie with this man whom his entire life depends wholly on her or with her late husband. The time travel romance in this book keeps you glued to the very end.

Gwyn Cready also has a series of two books titled Just in Time for a Highlander and First Time with a Highlander. These two books are also a must read since they are based on irresistible time travel romance, historical romance, paranormal romance and fantasy.
