Gail Carriger is an American author of steampunk, science fiction, urban fantasy and mystery novels. She is also an archaeologist. She is the author of the Parasol Protectorate series, featuring Alexia Tarabotti. She considers P.G. Wodehouse, Jane Austen and Charles Dickens to be her main influences.
