Erin Nicholas is a bestselling author responsible for producing a litany of romance novels featuring reluctant heroes and heroines. The author loves to lose herself in a good love story.
+Biography
Erin Nicholas knew she wanted to write novels when she was a child. The author can point a varied number of factors as potential inspirations for the career path she chose. The most notable of these was probably the day Erin Nicholas’ mother gave her a romance novel when she was in high school.
That one novel set her on a path she was unable to come back from. The author quickly found that all she cared about was diving into colorful words filled with happy endings and fairy godmothers.
Then again, Erin cannot deny the fact that being in a family of avid readers affected the way she looked at life. The author’s father was always bent over a notebook, jotting down ideas for stories; and his love for the fantasy genre was almost infectious.
In fact, Erin initially followed him down that particular path, growing to love titles like ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’. However, everything changed when she was fourteen and was finally granted access to her mother’s collection of books.
She immediately found that authors like Julie Garwood and Debbie Macomber spoke loudly to her sensibilities, awakening her interest in the romance genre. And it wasn’t like her father’s determination to drown her in fantasy was in vain.
Erin Nicholas took that fervor for reading she had witnessed in her father and she learned to apply it to romance. It is worth noting that, while Erin only discovered her love for romance in her teens, the author had been writing since she was a child.
Erin started out small, experimenting with poems and short stories. As her love for reading grew, the author found that her desire to create her own stories was developing in equal measure.
Her discovery of the romance genre in her teens finally gave Erin a point of focus. The author’s first notable story was written during her younger days. However, she never attempted to do anything with it because her life was so busy.
Besides finishing grad school, Erin Nicholas had to work, not to mention the rigors she encountered when her family began to take shape. Of course, like any true author, Erin never stopped writing, even while she was working full-time and raising little children. The activity became a regular part of her life.
It wasn’t until 2009 that the author finally submitted her story. Samhain Publishing fell in love with her characters and handed Erin a contract, opening the doorway to a world of publishing that the author wasn’t certain she would ever reach.
Even though Erin Nicholas’ books tell simple, fun, and flirty stories, she makes an effort to do her research before finally sitting down to get her writing done.
Erin loves to encourage aspiring authors to write. According to Erin, the only book an author can regret is the one they never write. She believes that most aspiring authors could achieve so much if they only stopped second guessing their decisions and simply sat down to get some real writing done, no matter how unappealing they think their work might be.
When Erin isn’t writing, she’s reading. When she isn’t reading, then she’s watching more television that might be healthy. The author also loves high school and college level sports, not to mention professional baseball.
Most of her friends will tell you that Erin Nicholas loves to hang out and to simply go to interesting places with her friends. She also enjoys collecting interesting quotes and sayings.
Erin, her husband and their children live in the Midwest. According to Erin, her husband, who is a journalist and reports on a number of serious events, gets a kick out of reading the sex scenes in her books.
+Just Right
Jessica Bradford is an ER Nurse with a nice girl façade. Few people know just how much of a bad girl she used to be. But Jessica is reformed, and her life just might be complete once she lands Ben Torres, a handsome doctor who looks like he is a step away from being perfect.
Ben Torres loved and respected his missionary parents and their devotion to sacrificing for the greater good. However, his faith was tested when he saved a man who later killed three people while driving drunk.
When Jessica finds Ben losing his regrets in alcohol at a bar after being suspending for assaulting a man, she can hardly believe that he is the same knight in shining armor she coveted.
When Jessica learns that her chances of landing a promotion she desires hinge on her ability to keep Ben out of trouble, she quickly finds that Ben knows just what it takes to reignite her wild side.
This Erin Nicholas novel brings two seemingly mismatched souls together and shows them that they might have more in common than they realize. Jessica was raised by a saint of a father who gave away so much of their money that his wife left them. In her teens, Jessica rebelled and went down the wrong path, only rehabilitating when her father died in tragic circumstances and vowing to remain on the straight and narrow path.
Ben was also molded by saintly parents. However, a tragic event forced him to abandon his beliefs and to rebel against everything he thought he knew. Now Jessica doesn’t know if she has what it takes to stay on the straight path, not when Ben is working so hard to drag her back to her old ways.
+Just Like That
Danika Steffen’s sisters wanted the best for her, which is why they have set her up with Sam Bradford. Sam has always known a little too much about women and sex, and he was more than happy to help two women who asked him to show their sister what great sex was like.
Sam was certain that the task would be a piece of cake.
When Sam’s date with his target ends with Danika in the ER, Sam is haunted by guilt and he quickly decides that he must do something for Danika in order to make up for his part in her ordeal. It doesn’t take Sam long to realize that Danika might be able to give him the one thing he never knew he wanted.
