Emily Bleeker is a noteworthy author from America, who is famous for writing mystery, fiction, romance, thriller, and contemporary novels. She hails from Chicago and is an ex-educator, who realized her passion for writing only after introducing her students to a writers’ workshop. Soon, she Bleeker discovered a whole new world of stories and characters that generated from her imagination. Author Bleeker resides in the suburban region of Chicago along with her family. She is happily married and is the mother of 4 beautiful kids. In between her writing schedules and taking care of her family, author Bleeker likes to involve herself in learning guitar, singing songs loudly to the tune of the radio, and embracing her new addiction to fitness activities. Author Bleeker’s first book, Wreckage, was published by the Lake Union publishers in 2014. This novel’s story revolves around an airplane crash and is followed by an engaging love story that the readers find so real that they cannot stop themselves from getting deeply involved in while reading. This wonderful thriller and romance setup is so good that it went to reach the number two spot on Amazon after its release. Another exciting work that author Bleeker wrote in her career is called When I am Gone. This book was released in 2016 and tells the story of a woman, who suffers from a rare form of disease and is nearing her life’s end. The most interesting part of this novel is the description of the love letters that reach the woman’s family members after she dies.
Author Bleeker says that this book is closely connected to her as she also went through a battle with a deadly form of cancer for several years. Bleeker was able to do justice to the book because she understands the worry and pain of losing loved ones very well. Numerous critics reviewed the book by saying that its characters seem to be so real that the audience will not stop thinking about them even after the completion of the story. They will sense a form of attachment with the book’s story and the characters. As of now, author Bleeker is working towards the development of the next book of her career and is expected to come up with a few releases in the days to come. Bleeker loves to write stories and considers herself lucky and blessed to have become a writer. She is of the opinion that all the writers are generous and wonderful people. Author Bleeker also takes pride in being able to balance her family and work life very well. She is able to give enough amount to her family as well as her writing career. She is still trying to find ways with which she could balance her personal and professional lives in a much better way. Author Bleeker feels happy family and her career bring lots of laughter in her life.
The debut novel written by author Emily Bleeker is entitled ‘Wreckage’. This book was released in the year 2015 by the Lake Union Publishing. Author Bleeker has described the lead characters in this book’s story in the form of Lillian Linden, Dave Hall, and Genevieve Randall. At the start of the book’s story, it is shown that Lillian Linden is a big liar. She likes to show herself as a brave survivor of a deadly plane crash. However, it turns out that she has been lying to friends, her family, and the entire world since the day she was scooped by the rescuing helicopters along with a fellow survivor named Dave Hall. After the crash, Dave Hall and Lillian and Linden had been lost on a deserted island located in the South Pacific. Both of them were missing for almost a couple of years as they were castaway in an unknown territory, where there was no sign of any living creature. But, after they were rescued, both the castaways became instantly famous. They became media attractions, overnight. However, they seem to be hiding the reality about what had actually happened on the island with them. They cannot tell the truth so they chose to lie. The public seems extremely fascinated by the saga of the castaways due to the whole media coverage. But, Lillian Linden and Dave Hall do not wish to remain in the spotlight. They want to return back to their respective spouses and to their normal lives as soon as possible. Unlike all the other journalists, Genevieve Randall, does not believe in their survival story. Being a hard nosed journalist and a news program host, she is not buying the survival story of Hall and Linden. Randall suspects that their explanations about the other survivors of the crash are not true. Now, she is determined to dig out the real story of the crash no matter how many lives get destroyed because of it. In the end, the intriguing tale describes redemption, secrets, survival, two normal people’s lives get torn apart by tragedy and the its reality.
Another intriguing novel written by author Bleeker is called ‘When I’m Gone’. This book was also released by Lake Union publication in 2016. The chief characters of this book are depicted as Luke Richardson and Natalie Richardson. The story takes place in Michigan. At the beginning of the story of the book, it is depicted that Luke Richardson returns to his home after completing the last rites of Natalie, who had been his beloved wife for the last 16 years. Now, he prepares himself for the tough job of bringing up his 3 children all by himself. But, there is something that Luke has not prepared himself for, is a surprise from his deceased wife. He receives a blue colored envelope at his Michigan home with his name written on its cover in the handwriting of Natalie. When Luke opens the envelope, he finds a letter inside it which Natalie had written on the very first day of her cancer treatment around one year ago. Later, it turns out that the letter is just the first of many letters that Natalie wrote to him throughout the different stages of her cancer treatment. After going through some of them, Luke becomes convinced that they were written by his wife, but he wonders who is delivering the letters? And as the obsession of Luke grows in relation to the letters, he learns about some long buried secrets. All the secrets make Luke question all that he knew about Natalie and his family.
