Danielle Stewart, best known for her Piper Anderson series is an American author who currently lives in North Carolina with her small family. Born in North Smithfield, Rhode Island, Danielle began writing early on, and when she had her son, who is now five years old, she used her writing as a way to have things “her way.” She often says that being in a house with a toddler is not always easy, and at times when she is having a hard day and her son isn’t listening to her, she can always turn back to her characters. “They always cooperate!” She loves to say.

In a recent interview she listed a few fun facts about her that many people do not know. In it she told readers that she has a very strong fear of whales ever since she was a little girl. When she gets hungry she can very difficult, so her family always knows to have snacks along whenever they are out and about. She loves to cook, but has no ability to bake. When she hears a song she likes, it is not uncommon to see her listening to it over and over several times in a row. She dislikes reading directions to anything, and prefers to improvise or figure it out on her own ever since she was a little girl. She loves spending time on Pinterest and has been known to disappear for hours on end exploring the site. Since being a mother she has learned to be able to handle almost any situation, no matter how ‘gross’ it may be. She enjoys all kinds of food and wine, no matter the occasion. Gardening is not her specialty, and in fact she often says, “I have the kind of thumb that kills any type of plant ever given. Whatever kind of thumb that is…I have it.” Finally, she ended the interview telling how writing has changed her life, it has completely created the way she approaches life. To her readers she says, “If you have something you love to do, I hope you get the opportunity to do it.”

Danielle specializes in writing stories and characters within the Romance and Suspense genres. Her most well-known series is the Piper Anderson Series which centers around the character of Piper Anderson, a young woman living in Edenville, North Carolina. The series begins with Chasing Justice, where Piper witnesses a local judge committing a violent assault on someone. She has to challenge her commitment to rational thinking and balancing a new love interest with her desire to see that the Judge gets what he deserves. Other prominent characters in the series include: Bobby Wright, Piper’s love interest, Jedda Wright, and Betty who brings some light-hearted humor throughout the books.

The Edenville Series begins with Flowers in the Snow, a book that focuses on the character of Betty Grafton. In it she receives some news that changes her life forever and forces her to relive some of the most difficult and dark moments in her past. She tells the audience and readers a captivating tale of what it was really like to grow up in the South during the 1960’s. Later books add additional insight into events in Betty’s past and stories she tells that give the reader an insight into her adventures, experience, and what has made her into the woman she is today.

The Clover series starts with the events in the life of Devin Sutton as he returns to the small town of Clover. His intent at the start is to exact revenge on the town that hurt his life for over 10 years. However, things change as he is confronted with a choice between rekindling an old love interest and his desire for revenge on the town. The series ends telling the story of Vitorino Coglinaese, who has recently returned from seeing combat. It tells of his struggles to transition back into civilian life and the challenges of reuniting with his family. The only thing that brings him home is the knowledge that he discovers that one of his sisters is in trouble. Can he fight his nightmares and memories to be able to save his Sister, and can Jordan the woman that he loves help him to make peace with his family? This are the events that shape the end of the series.

The Rough Waters Series focuses on the characters of Autumn Chase and Noah Key, both are characters that have lost someone very close to them. The stories tell of their challenges and events they go through as they make the decisions to either allow their grief and pain to consume their lives, or be willing to move past it.

Each book in the Barrington Billionaires Series tells the romance story of different characters. These books by Danielle Stewart are also connected to 4 other books by different authors that all tie together. The first book in the series, Fierce Love, tells the story of James West, the heir to his families Oil Business, and Libby Saint-Jane a beautiful and mysterious woman James keeps running into that works at the company. Will James be able to balance the demands of his new career or let love take over. Will Libby choose to let James help to save her career or let love takes its way with her? The second book, Wild Eyes, tells about Matthew Kalling, also an heir to an oil empire and his interaction with Jessica Thorne, a “wild woman” he meets at a party. He has to face the challenges of going after the girl he is passionate for and keep the empire running smooth. Jessica, while enamored by this intriguing personality in Matthew, she has to decide whether to let him sweep her off her feet or stick to what she knows to be safe. The final book in the series, Crazy Nights, tells about Emmitt Kalling and his thirst for action. Having just returned from an army deployment he is eager to look for action. He meets young Evie Pike, who has been a flop in her quest for professional success and the prospect of just getting on a plane with Emmitt to escape could be the answer she has been looking for.

Danielle Stewart continues her passion for writing, and has no desire to stop. She says that she has mastered the art of writing in a noisy house, as well as coming up with her storylines as she goes about the daily house chores.
