Chloe Carley is a successful Christian published author.

She recounts that so many of her fondest memories of nights in childhood started off with the phrase ‘once upon a time’. She loves that phrase and has always loved a good story for as long as she can remember.

Chloe attributes this love of reading to her grandfather. Her grandfather would often read books to Chloe and her sister, tales of dragons and princes. Even to this day, the author says that she sometimes miss spending those times in front of the fireplace during the cold winters in her hometown in Texas.

Despite this, the author says that the best stories were always from the Bible. This is the level of the spiritual connection that every time she hears a story from the Bible she feels a sensation of warmth going through her body.

Her memories from childhood are not all perfect, she admits, but she always found shelter and comfort in the fact that the Lord was always there for her. It had been many years, and the girl that was so little grew up still loving stories and with the urge to write some stories of her own and share them with readers.

She believes if there is a purpose for her on Earth set to her by God, she believes that it is to try and spread the love and wisdom of God through her stories. She has written the Colorado Reborn series, the Lawson Legacy series, and the Heaven’s Embrace on the Frontier series, as well as several stand alone fictional novels.

His Stubborn Sweet Bride is the first book in the Colorado Reborn series by Chloe Carley. If you have been looking for a sweet romance to check out, give this story a try!

Main character Nate Trowbridge is an English man. He’s come into a bit of property when his uncle left him his American ranch. He decides to go to the state of Colorado along with his sister Leonie. He wants more than anything to become a gentleman rancher. He also would love to marry a woman like Emmaline Chiswick, who is the daughter of some friends of the family residing in Denver.

Nate finds that his perfect, ordered world is all of sudden turned completely upside down when an error changes everything. He had drafted a proposal letter and sent it off to Emmaline, but the problem is that his letter has been delivered to a different woman by mistake.

Instead of Emmaline showing up on his doorstep, he is finding that a woman with red hair and a taste for adventure has appeared. Instead of turning around and moving on with her life, she is telling him that he has to honor the offer of marriage to her. Nate cannot believe what he is hearing at all, but at the same time thinks that her courage is unique and that she is incredibly beautiful.

The woman in question is one named Molly Clanahan. She’s a woman who cannot be bought, but she is also a woman that will not leave his house. Nate doesn’t know what to do. He’s a member of many higher social circles and having a lady who looks like her and isn’t married in his house would be sure to set tongues wagging were anyone to find out, which they cannot.

At first Nate thinks that he has to get rid of this woman as soon as possible. But then she starts sticking around. The more that he talks to her, the more that he starts thinking that she may not be as much of a gold digger as he thought she was. He even starts to read between the lines and has a belief that she may have come to his home not for marriage but to hide herself and keep herself safe.

Then Molly suddenly goes missing, and Nate doesn’t know what to do. He looks at his options and he decides the best idea is to try and figure out who she really is. By doing so, he suddenly gets involved in many different events. They may end up threatening to impact his reputation, deal with his courage, and even have him contend with evil.

This search will take him to the deepest, worst places located in the West. In the end, it may end up making him figure out if he wants the truth or if he just wants the woman he knows as Molly, taking whatever comes along with that. Will it work out? Read this book to find out!

Then Leonie comes back to the Circle T Ranch in Indian Rock, and her time in Europe has totally changed her. Now she sees her home the way others would, and even the things that she cared about before may have changed.
