Order of Captain Underpants Books
Captain Underpants is a series of children’s novels by American author Dav Pilkey. The series follows two best friends, George Beard and Harold Hutchins. Together, they create a comic book character named Captain Underpants. They end up convincing their principal (Mr. Krupp) that he is Captain Underpants, and he becomes the real-life Captain Underpants. He reverts to Mr. Krupp when water is thrown on him.
Dav Pilkey began his Captain Underpants series in 1997 with the novel The Adventures of Captain Underpants. The series is currently ongoing. Below is a list of Dav Pilkey’s Captain Underpants books in order of when they were first released (which is the same as their chronological order):
