Early and Personal Life
B.N. Rundell had an impactful and eventful life. Growing up, B.N. was one of many sons in a large Texas ranch family and never lacked of activity, between riding bulls, skiing, and attending school. After graduating, he entered the Army Paratroopers and attended college in Springfield, Missouri, before beginning a life with his wife and starting their family.
Bob achieved success in both ministry and academics, until he retired from the ministry and set up an insurance agency. This business was later transferred to his nephew, while B.N. developed a name for himself as an audiobook narrator, working to bring acclaimed authors to life. Later, this led to his own milestone of becoming an author, writing various titles – from children’s books to the western genre pieces that held a special appeal for him.
B.N.’s life was undoubtedly significant, as he followed his dreams and left a legacy of accomplishments. He set an example for those wishing to pursue their ambitions, as he created a loving family and achieved great things.
Writing Career
B.N. Rundell has had quite an extensive writing career since he began in 2016. He has written many series, such as The Buckskin Chronicles, consisting of ten books; Rocky Mountain Saint, composed of fourteen books; Stonecroft Saga, with fifteen books; Plainsman Western, featuring ten books; and the McCain Chronicles, which have three books. Additionally, he has written three stand-alone novels, Star Dancer (2016), Ridin’ Lonesome (2017), and The Christmas Bear (2018), as well as an omnibus edition, Christian Western Showcase (2019), with four other authors.

Moonlight and Mountains
B.N. Rundell’s western novel ‘Moonlight and Mountains’ was published on April 15th 2020 by Wolfpack Publishing. It is the fourth installment of the renowned ‘Stonecroft Saga’ series, and is widely known amongst readers as a must-read for its captivating storytelling and stirring themes. To truly appreciate the full narrative, it’s recommended to read the books in order.
Gabriel Stonecroft and Ezra ventured into the largely undiscovered Louisiana Territory, intent on exploring the unbridged wilderness. Encountering various Native American tribes, they faced numerous hazards, culminating in a journey towards the Rocky Mountains. Along the way, they encountered the brave Plains tribes of Arapaho, Ute, Shoshoni, and Crow. With every step of the way came intense and often life-threatening risks, as they navigated the unknown lands.
The Trail to Restoration
Rundell released ‘The Trail to Restoration’ on January 12, 2022, published by Wolfpack Publishing. It is part of the ‘Plainsman Western Series’, a series of novels that can be read as stand-alones or in order for full enjoyment. Readers should again consider reading the novels in order for the best experience though.
Reuben and Elly had found themselves in a beautiful, wild new land of challenge. When they discovered two white captive women being held by Cheyenne Dog soldiers, they were tasked with rescuing them. Soon after, they were then presented with a challenge from a federal Marshall to secure a gold shipment from Colorado for the Union forces. Complications soon arose due to the arrival of rebel recruits, outlaws, and two orphaned urchins, but Reuben and Elly were determined to see through the mission.
Vengeance Valley
‘Vengeance Valley’ was released on December 5th, 2018 by Wolfpack Publishing. It is a western novel and part of the popular ‘Rocky Mountain Saint’ series – it is well worth reading the stories in order to gain the greatest benefit, but they can also once again be enjoyed as standalone stories. It has earned much acclaim since its release.
Tate Saint had a friendly relationship with many of the native people who lived in the Sangre de Cristo mountains, until the Apache and Ute began a war against the white man. Out of concern for his own family, Tate returns to the Wind River mountains. When Tate is recruited by a mountain man scout to investigate a massacre of settlers on the Oregon trail, he soon finds himself up against the self-appointed war chief of the Crow. A group of unexpected allies are needed to put a halt to the bloodshed, ultimately leading to the discovery of Bad Heart Bear’s truth.
