Andy Peloquin
Andy Peloquin is a storyteller and an artist, with words being his palette. Science fiction and fantasy are his genres of choice, and he loves exploring the darker side of human nature through the filter of villains, heroes, and everything in between.
Andy’s also a book lover, a freelance writer, and a guy that loves meeting new people and spend hours and hours talking about his fascination for the worlds that he encounters in the pages of science fiction and fantasy novels.
He is a lover of fantasy turned author, and writes the stories that he’d love to read. Growing up as a third-culture kid provided him with a broader insight into the world all around him, an insight that he attempts to weave into his novels.
“Darkblade Outcast” won a Rone Award in the year 2017.
“Child of the Night Guild” is the first novel in the “Queen of Thieves” series and was released in the year 2017. They murdered her family and ripped apart her home. However to repay her debts, she will have to sacrifice her own innocence.
Viola, having been robbed of everything that she loves, is mourning the sudden loss of her mom. Now burdened with an impossible debt to the Night Guild, and is forced to train as a clever thief. Subjected to cruelty at each turn, this scrawny criminal apprentice vows to survive just long enough to become the best in the kingdom.
Thrown together with some unlikely allies, her burgeoning skills draw the attentions of jealous rivals and sadistic bullies with dark intentions. However fueled by her grief-filled rage, she refuses to allow anything to distract her from preparing for the most treacherous test The Guild has for her. In a cutthroat den of thieves, can she rise to power and outrun a brutal death?
“Darkblade Assassin” is the first novel in the “Hero of Darkness” series and was released in the year 2018. The best hitman in the world does not come cheap. And crossing him will cost that much more.
The Hunter is a name that is revered and feared by all in Voramis. The perfect hitman. Immortal, ruthless, and unrelenting. He’s an outcast, driven by the cursed dagger that feeds him power with each kill, but he struggles against its unquenchable demands for death and blood.
He follows a simple code, only killing those he believes deserve to die. Until today, that is. The Hunter, having been deceived by his shadowy employer, has killed a good man, an innocent man.
His foes, the most powerful criminal organization in the entire city, aren’t going to quit until he’s dead. When they make the mistake of harming the people he protects, not even an army of thugs, thieves, and killers are going to thwart his vengeance.
Readers found this one starts off with a bang and the pacing never slows down for a moment, making you obsessed until you’ve finished it.
“Darkblade Outcast” is the second novel in the “Hero of Darkness” series and was released in the year 2018. Can a murderer escape from the evil that’s inside of him? The hunter has fled from his home and the suffering he left in his wake. Hoping to cleanse the stain of blood that’s on his hands, he aids travelers that are beset by bandits just to learn those he saved are actually warrior clerics on a holy mission to murder him.
Left for dead, he is forced to hunt down these priests in order to reclaim his stolen birthright and silence the relentless whispers in his mind that hunger for death and blood.
The Hunter, from feared assassin to wretched outcast, journeys closer to the truth about his own forgotten past and the demons that he pledged to hunt down. However will his discoveries prove to be his salvation, or are they going to cost him his sanity and his life?
This is a compelling and masterfully written story that keeps you excited while reading through all of it in just a single sitting.
“Darkblade Protector” is the third novel in the “Hero of Darkness” series and was released in the year 2018. Protect the innocent at any cost. The Hunter, the legendary assassin of Voramis, has just been handed a second chance. He’ll safeguard Hailen, the boy that he rescued from a demon, against any immortal or mortal threat.
Even though he joins a caravan with the hope of safe passage across the vast emptiness of the Advanat Desert, he simply can’t outrun any of his enemies. There are the savage raiders out for gold and blood, the Illusionist Cleric on a holy mission to capture him, and the Abiarazi, the demons masquerading as humans.
Each step north unlocks the truth about the woman haunting his memories, offering up new glimpses into both who and what he truly is.
“Shields in Shadow” is the first novel in the “Silent Champions” series and was released in the year 2019. Hardened by battle scars, burdened with legend. Hellbent on getting bloody revenge.
Aravon is the son of a famous general and is proud to captain his very own company against his people’s enemy. However the experienced veteran’s march toward glory dissolves into nothing more than pain while ruthless barbarians butcher each and every one of his soldiers. Burning to get vengeance, he jumps at the opportunity to spearhead a specially trained company and pay back his tragic defeat with blood.
Desperate not to repeat his tragic past, he relentlessly trains his new warriors. However the captain fears that all of the tactical drills in the entire world might not matter when they are forced to defend some helpless village against some overwhelming odds. While his quick raids sow chaos among the foe, the bloodthirsty brutes threaten to make Aravon’s nightmarish history repeat itself.
Can the captain take command of his fighting spirit before the kingdom falls to barbarous invaders?
This is the first book in the action packed “Silent Champions” series of military fantasy books. For readers that love well-oiled military action, square-jawed heroes, and epic world building, then you are sure to love these books.
