She would hone this throughout the years, crafting it during her higher education, as she would carry on finding herself as a writer.
Attending Azusa Pacific University, she would also go on to receive two Bachelors, and then a Masters in counselling. This would allow her to further her craft, before finally progressing into becoming a romance novelist full-time. Currently living with her husband, she continues to writer regularly, as her writing carer carries on growing onwards and upwards.

These would include many stand-alone titles along, with a collection of series too, marking her as a definite writer to watch in the years to follow. Included in these were the ‘Fear’ series, the ‘Deceptive Desires’ series, and the ‘Good Mistress’ series to name just a few of them.
Many of these series would feature dominant men, in erotically charged romances, as each series would feature a long-running theme. Using the many principles and tropes of the genre, Avant would make them very much her own, taking them to interesting new heights. Devil in Her Bed
Self-published through the ‘Jessica Watkins Presents’ publishing label, this would initially come out in 2017 on the 16th of March to much acclaim. Working with its own self-contained narrative, it manages to tell and engaging and fun story, compelling the reader every step of the way. This is something that Avant clearly excels at, and this book is definitely no exception to the rule as it moves along.
As a stand-alone romance novel this really does have it all, from passion to love and romance, with a strong relationship at the heart of it. The main characters are well established, making the reader really care for both them and their plight as the story progresses. Wrapping everything up within the book, it makes for a quick and easy read that’s extremely fun and easy to pick-up.
It felt like everything had but died within the heart of Siobhan Lewis, as the love of her life has gone missing presumed dead. That’s when she meets Lincoln Zager, and the two of them become passionately intertwined with one another, as he heals her wounds. It seems that there’s another though, an obsessed stalker who wants Lincoln no matter what the cost, and he’ll do whatever it takes to get her. Will they be able to stop him? Can Lincoln successfully protect her? What will become of the devil in her bed?
Vindictive
Initially published through the ‘Blu Savant Press’ publishing label, this would first come out in 2016 on the 9th of October. It would be the third book in the ‘Deceptive Desires’ series, and would provide the overall conclusion to the series in the process. Featuring an exciting cast of characters, it is a lot like the television series Dynasty, playing out in a similar way, with it being inspired heavily by the show. There’s a lot of continuing arcs and narrative strands from the previous books, so it is best to read them all in chronological order.
This is the finale to the saga, as it looks at both the lives and the loves of the Shaw family, as they all attempt to live happily ever after. Seeing Liam and Raven at the heart of the story, this works on multiple levels, allowing the reader a satisfying conclusion. It also looks at the relationships of the others, along with looking at the elder members of the family, and the murder and deceit that ensues. How will it all come to play out? Can everyone find their ideal romantic partner? Just who exactly is vindictive?
