Adele Clee is a paranormal romance and historical romance fiction author from Shropshire. She has always been a huge lover of history and read her first historical romance soon after she was lured into reading a similar Shakespearean play.

Adele would consequently discover that she loved historical romances from the regency era, with their illicit midnight liaisons and the bucks in breeches. As such, when she went to college she studied English Literature and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in the Arts degree.

She chose the course of study as she got to read her favorite historical romance fiction works from the likes of Bronte, Hardy, and Austen.

Adele currently makes her home in Shropshire and when she is not writing her novels, she can usually be found spying around stately Victorian homes hoping to find a portal back to the Regency era.

She also likes to watch all the best dramas from the 19th century. Adele also interacts with her readers through the newsletter on her website, where she usually provides updates on her upcoming novels and bonus content.

One of the biggest learning points for Adele Clee was how to write. For years, she bought all manner of fancy notebooks with beautiful covers. She usually wrote very little in the same as she believed her scruffy notes would just make them messy.

While cooking one day, she had an idea and began scrambling around looking for paper and found an old-school book. It was in that book that she started writing the manuscript for her debut novel.

Adele Clee published “To Save a Sinner” her debut novel in 2015. She now has more than 30 works to her name including an omnibus, several single-standing novels, and several series.

Adele Clee’s novel “At Last the Rogue Returns” opens with a lady discovering that the man she considered a monster might be the hero of her dreams. For years, Miss Lydia Lovell had been on a quest for justice, even as the tenants of the cruel Lord Greystone suffered his brutality.

While he left his property to go spend some time abroad, illness and poverty crippled his dependents. But he is now back home and Lydia intends to make him pay for his sins.

On his part, Greystone whose real name is Miles Oakley is back for vengeance. He had spent half a decade abroad making gobs of money and is coming back to England to destroy the people that had humiliated his mother.

He had come up with a plan but then a spirited lady had accosted him while he was trying to enter the manor and hurled all manner of bizarre accusations that revealed a shocking betrayal.

Lydia finds herself with more to worry about than mistreated tenants as her sibling and his wife intend to take over her inheritance and have come up with an elaborate plan to accomplish their mission.

She has also found herself developing a strong attraction to Greystone even though she had despised him for years. When they are both threatened y blackmail and murder they come together and soon they have a burning passion.

“A Wicked Wager” by Adele Clee is the story of two lonely people who learn that sometimes true love is not perfect.

Devlin Drake is looking for revenge as ever since the mysterious death of his brother, the devious and cruel Miss Bromfiedl has been spouting all manner of vile gossip and vicious lies.
He wants to make her pay and he believes the best punishment is to force her to marry him so that she can have a lifetime of misery. He is certain that Miss Bromfield would never accept him and comes up with a plan he believes will get her to the marriage altar.
He intends to win her hand in a bet but in making the decision to marry the woman who despises him he will never experience true love. However, his luck turns as he is offered another enticing option.
Juliet Duval is the bastard kid of Baron Bromfield that had been taken into her father’s house upon her mother’s death. The big lord thinks her an embarrassment while her half-sister usually delivers all manner of jealous tirades that soon see Juliet downgraded to a lowly servant.
But then Baron Bromfield makes a bet and he can only pay with one of his daughters. Juliet and Devlin find themselves by a bizarre twist of fate thrown together even though they could not have been more mismatched.

She is petite and dainty and despises masterful men and obeys her father while he is a commanding, power hunk of a man. However, the two soon become just what the other need but still have to fight those that would tear them apart.

Adele Clee’s novel “Valentine’s Vow” is the beautiful love story of Lucius Valentine and Miss Ava Kendall. The former had vowed to never get hitched but being the only son of his parents, obligation, and duty weight heavy. But how can he take a wife when he has never felt any emotion for a woman?

He decides upon Lady Durrant the widow but fast realize that there are other gentlemen also interested in her affections. An appointment at dawn results in a surprise encounter that throws his ordered life and marriage plans into turmoil.

Even though she is a strong woman Ava Kendall also craves love. She has been finding it difficult to keep her mischievous brother away from trouble. Trying to get him out of his latest troubles, she finds herself facing up to the mysterious Lord Valentine.

He is a very handsome, intelligent, and charming man that is not used to dealing with a woman with an original mind and a sharp tongue. Gentlemen such as him often avoided such women but he cannot take his hungry eyes off of her.

Following the theft of the blood ruby that had been highly prized by his mother and his entire family, Valentine had been charged with finding the man or woman responsible. He believes Miss Kendal is a leading suspect as much of the evidence points to her.

But finding themselves in plots of blackmail ad murder their attraction only deepens.
