A.M. Griffin is a bestselling author of paranormal romance fiction, a mother with three kids, and an owner of a dog, a friend, aunt daughter, and sister.
For most of her life, Griffin has been a career student and now has two graduate certificates, two master’s degrees, a bachelor’s, and an associate degree.
With so many degrees, she came to a point in her life where she did not know what to do and even thought of going back to pick up a trade. It was at this time that she had the brilliant idea of becoming an author.
Griffin published “Dangerously Mine” her debut novel in 2013 and has since published more than thirty works and is not slowing down any time soon.
She is now a hard worker who spends most of her time writing and reading. A. M. loves reading everything from historical romances to mystery novels and of course fantasy romances.
She is also a woman who believes in just about everything from the angels in the skies, the mermaids in the seas and oceans, and intelligent life in outer space.
Like many novelists, AM. Griffin is and has always been an avid reader. Growing up, her mother used to make Griffin and her siblings read every day. She did not care what they wanted to read as long as they were busy reading.
During that time, her older brother loved reading comic books and she read just about everything she could get her hands on. Some of the things she used during this time included encyclopedias, magazine articles, poems, and books.
Griffin particularly loved reading Judy Blume’s books earlier on. When she was in her early twenties, she discovered Johanna Lindsey and proceeded to fall in love with her novels.
She also believes that the fact that her mother was a writer played a huge role in her becoming an author as an adult. Her mother used to encourage her to write everything down from her ideas and thoughts to short stories when she was a child.
Her fondest memories are of her mother typing away at her typewriter on her desk which she still does to this day.
A.M. now makes use of writing as an outlet for the many new ideas and worlds she gets from her very vivid imagination.
A.M. Griffin first started thinking of herself as a writer when she got her first acceptance letter after tens of rejections. The first acceptance was the debut of the “Loving Dangerously” series “Dangerously Mine.”
She had so much joy from the validation of actually getting one of her manuscripts accepted that she kept pinching herself.
It would take about a year before her novel was published and like many novelists, she had a lot of self-doubt during the editing and revision process. But all doubts melted away when she finally had a release date in 2013.
“Dangerously Mine” by A.M. Griffin is set in a world conquered by aliens which has made it a very different place.
Trying to run for her life, Eva is taken while her comrades are killed. She is being sold to any willing buyers as her sellers believe her martial arts skills make her less desirable.
During this time, Warrior King Taio comes visiting and finds it distasteful that his hosts still practice slavery and thinks any planets that allow such are disgusting.
When he sees one slave trader mistreating a slave, he intervenes and takes the slave, only to find that she is the type that he cannot give away.
Taio does not believe anyone should own another person and hates when women are treated roughly but now finds himself saddled with a female slave.
It is not long before Eva begins to fall for Taio but needs to be herself too. She has never been the type to sit on the sidelines being coddled and wearing pretty things.
When Taio takes her back to his planet, she discovers she is the only slave there. But she also learns that he has been hiding things from her and that he can release her any time he wants and this is when things go haywire.
A.M. Griffin’s novel “Dangerously Yours” is the riveting sequel to the debut novel of the “Loving Dangerously” series of novels.
The lead is Kane Epps, a man whose life can be divided into two parts – after and before the alien invasion.
Before the aliens arrived he had a high-powered job and a pregnant wife. Following the invasion, all he has is the hatred of the aliens who had left him all alone and with nothing.
In his bitterness, he joins a band of human space pirates that take everything they can, and he soon becomes captain. They soon capture Princess Sa’Mya who had fled her home planet alongside several trusted advisors.
Captain Epps has always said that he hated aliens but cannot resist kissing and touching the princess. As Kane introduces her to unimaginable and ever-increasing levels of pleasure, she will do anything to earn his trust.
She always gets what she wants and all she wants is Captain Epps.
It is a fantastically entertaining, romantic, and erotic journey to a faraway galaxy full of drama, heartbreak, sexy aliens, human space pirates, and political intrigue.
“Dangerously Hers” by A.M. Griffin is a work that is set in the very same world of an alien invaded Earth.
The lead is Jess who has never hidden her hate of aliens who had destroyed her home planet and made her a sex slave who had to work in a brothel. She may have managed to get out, but the old fears and memories still haunt her mind.
She believes that Sonis is where she can be safe, start afresh, and heal. She was full of hope about her prospects until she met her new boss Rasha.
The man is a Sonis Royal Guard captain and is one of the best warriors ever. He is sinfully sexy and huge and could get just about any woman on the planet, even though all he wants is Jess.
But Jess hates aliens even though she always loses control whenever Rasha is in her vicinity. While she always says that it is only physical, there is something about the man that speaks to her soul that she cannot put her finger on.
