Order of Joan Hess Books
Joan Hess is an American author of mystery novels. She writes the Claire Malloy series and the Arly Hanks series (also known as the Maggody Mysteries). Hess earned her B.A. from the University of Arkansas in art and an M.S. in early childhood development from Long Island University. It was suggested to her by a friend to try writing a romance novel. After ten tries, she decided to switch to mysteries and finally found success. Joan lives in Austin, Texas and has two twin grandchildren.
