Order of Cornelia Funke Books

Cornelia Funke is a German author of adventure and fantasy children’s/YA novels. She is best known for her Inkheart Trilogy, and also writes the Ghosthunters series. She has been referred to as the “German J.K. Rowling.” When she was young, Cornelia wanted to be an astronaut or a pilot (as many kids do), but ended up going to the University of Hamburg for pedagogy and becoming a social worker for deprived children. Cornelia lives in Beverly Hills, California.
Cornelia Funke became a published author in her native language of German in 1993 with the novel Die Wilden Huhner. Her first book to be translated into English was the standalone novel The Thief Lord, published in 2000.
