Abby Jimenez is an author and chef. She is best known as a writer for the Friend Zone series of books that began in 2019 with the first book in the series, The Friend Zone. That book was named by O, The Oprah Magazine as one of the Best Romance Novels of the year.

Jimenez is the founder of Nadia Cakes. She started the business out of her kitchen in 2007, but it has since grown and she has gone on to win numerous Food Network competitions. Her writing got a large audience thanks to her viral comments on the now famous Nadia Cakes Vageode™ cake. When she is not writing, she enjoys coffee, dogs, and not leaving her house.
