Order of Peter Lovesey Books

Peter Lovesey is a British novelist of crime fiction novels, many of which are historical. His series characters include Sergeant Cribb and Peter Diamond. He has also published several novels under the pen name of Peter Lear. Peter has won several of the highest awards in his field, including the Anthony Award, the Cartier Diamond Dagger, the Macavity Award and the Barry Award. His son, Phil Lovesey, is also a crime novelist.
Peter Lovesey’s first book published was a non-fiction book entitled The Kings of Distance, which came out in 1968. His first novel was the Sergeant Cribb novel Wobble to Death, published in 1970. Below is a list of Peter Lovesey’s books in order of when they were originally published:
