Order of Douglas Adams Books

Douglas Adams (1952-2001) was an English writer of comedy, satire and science fiction. He is best known for his Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy trilogy (of five books). Adams was also very much into technology (he was the first person in Europe to purchase a Mac), an environmentalist and one of only two non-Pythons to get a writing credit on Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Adams died of a heart attack in May 2001.
Douglas Adams’ debut as a novelist was his most famous work, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy in 1979. Below is a list of Douglas Adams’ books in order of when they were originally released (and in chronological order):
