Order of Arturo Perez-Reverte Books

Arturo Perez-Reverte is a Spanish author of historical fiction, mystery and suspense novels. He writes the Captain Alatriste series. Before becoming a published novelist, Arturo was a war correspondent for 21 years. His novels usually focus on one character and narrated by a character who is part of the story, but not a major part. Perez-Reverte sets his novels in Spain or the Mediterranean and deal with Spanish history, art and culture and ancient treasures. He also writes about modern issues, including drug trafficking and religion and politics in the Spanish landscape.
Arturo Perez-Reverte became a published author in Spanish in 1986 with the novel El husar. His first novel to be published in English was The Club Dumas in 1993. Below is a list of Arturo Perez-Reverte’s books in order of when they were originally released:
