Jennifer Griffith
Jennifer Griffith is an award-winning, bestselling author of novels that have been both independently and traditionally published. She got her degree in English/Technical Writing and Japanese from Utah State University, and worked as a writer for the US Senate and House of Representatives.
Then she became a mom and switched to writing romantic comedy novels from her home. Jennifer’s done professional editing since the year 1991 and loves to help novelists to the next level.
Jennifer’s written for a newspaper, with her work appearing locally as well as in Meridian and The Chicago Tribune. Her novel “Big in Japan” has been chosen for college and high school curriculum. She has been a presenter at many conferences and workshops, including ANWA Conference and Salt Lake ComiCon. She and her husband, Gary, have five hilarious and brilliant children that don’t care about her being a writer; as they just call her Mom.
She loves reading, old cars, fresh bread with raspberry jam, and landscape paintings. Jennifer lived in Japan during college, where she ate a cricket once on a dare. She traveled through Europe, where she slept one night in a castle on the Rhine.
Jennifer’s got no plans to write the Great American Novel. She would much rather compose something that somebody would read on a rainy afternoon with a cup of cocoa, or sitting on a beach chair as the waves crash. Frothy, light, gone.
“The Lost Art” is the first novel in the “The Billionaire Makeover” series and was released in the year 2014. Ava Young, a dowdy art exhibit coordinator, is happy with her sensible clogs and man-suits. She likes the way her clogs clip-clop on the museum’s tile floor. However they just don’t win her any lovelorn looks from her crush in the office. In fact, the new guy calls her “sir” when they first meet. Oh, well. She has always known the way that a man would take another look at her was if she was the one and only person in the room. And on fire.
However after her workplace crush devastates her by, honestly, calling her something super-duper downright mean, she’s ready to make some drastic changes outside and in. Even if this means giving up chocolate, or taking some hilariously out-of-date yet strangely wise-sounding advice on femininity from a 1959 book on “How to Snare a Modern Man”.
Either way, she had better hurry since a priceless art exhibit gets a theft threat on her watch, a handsome billionaire and one good looking FBI agent are going to be taking a long hard look at the art. And Ava, too.
“My Fair Aussie” is the second novel in the “The Billionaire Makeover” series and was released in the year 2017. There is a lot more to this Aussie cowboy than meets the eye.
Eliza, a former grad student, works as a nanny for this self-absorbed trophy wife that’s looking to trade up for a newer husband and ditch her kid. Eliza will do whatever she has to keep the little girl safe and open her boss’s eyes. Even if this requires some elaborate hoax.
Then fates her with Henry, this dirty and bewildered guy at the bus station. He has a cowboy swagger, amazing teeth, and an accent to swoon over. Everything starts to fall into place for a rags-to-riches style bait and switch. However will it deliver a slice of humble pie to her boss? Or just get her fired? Worse, refining him may just mean losing her heart.
“Christmas at Holly Berry Cottage” is the first novel in the “Sugarplum Falls” series and was released in the year 2020. Christmas duets, a dreaded holiday wedding, and dating that off-limits crush.
Chelsea Sutherland’s a wreck this Christmas. She’s not only reeling from the cruelest breakup the world’s ever seen, but now her ex-boyfriend is marrying her meanest cousin. At Chelsea’s childhood home, to boot. And there is no way for her to skip it. No matter how deep she buries herself into the number-crunching going on at work, the wedding just will not go away.
Wyatt North has just been handed a career-making opportunity. Should he get it right, he will be able to steer his banking firm toward its roots of helping the local community once more. If not, he is a blot on the family name, which he already jeopardizes by spending all of his time with the Sutherland family, singing with Chelsea and her brother in Christmas Tree-O.
Wyatt learns about Chelsea’s dreaded wedding issue, and the solution becomes obvious: take Wyatt as her significant other. Since the trio’s become a duet, some long-suppressed feelings between each of them are beginning to heat up. However a romance might endanger the friendship and their singing group’s dynamic. Not to mention risk disapproval from each of their respective families.
“Christmas at Turtledove Place” is the first novel in the “Sugarplum Falls” series and was released in the year 2020. Lights on a frozen waterfall, a cozy fireplace, and a nanny carrying a torch for the single-father.
Captain Beau Cabot just cannot keep a nanny. It’s not that his kids are bad, but it’s that the helpers that he brings onboard cannot seem to believe him when he says that the only needs they should take care of are the kids’s. Forced to sack his lustful childcare worker at the worst possible moment, he cannot leave for his weekend military assignment. His aunt suggests finding a wife, however that won’t save him at this moment.
Sophie Hawkins, with just weeks to go until Christmas, gets some horrible news. Her sister has up and abandoned her family, all to become a rock star’s groupie. Even worse, Beau’s rumored to have lost some of his nannies. Who’ll care for the two cutest children in the whole world this holiday? Children whose lives have been upended?
Despite her unwise yet unstoppable crush on her former brother-in-law, Beau, she races to Sugarplum Falls. She plans on staying for just a single weekend, particularly considering the still-smoldering torch that she still carries for him, who’s now divorced and finally fair game for her. Beau knows, though, that you just don’t fall for your nanny. Particularly when she’s also your ex-sister-in-law.
