Originally brought out in 2007 on the 1st of January, this would first come out through the Hachette Books publishing imprint. Not a part of any series, it can easily be read on its own, open to anyone managing a business of their own, or looking to manage one. It’s a self-help title with elements of fiction used to elaborate the points it’s making a lot more easily for the reader.
This is a business parable looking at how companies can work and strive to achieve any of their dreams if they really want them. Using a fictional company as its basis the book sets about breaking down what really motivates its employees, ultimately driving it forwards. Finding that it’s the personal dreams of the employees, it sets about looking at how the company can potentially rectify this dissatisfaction. Showing the reader how they can become more aware of this in the day-to-day running of their business, this shows another way for managing their company.

Resisting Happiness
First released back in 2016 on the 15th of August, this would initially come out through the ‘Blue Sparrow’ publishing house. Another non-fiction self-help book, this again looks at helping people become more productive individuals making the most of their lives. Inspirational, it works by itself, as it’s stand-alone, but it does reflect many of Kelly’s other ideas and previous writing.
People are often said to sabotage their own happiness and this book seeks to look at exactly why that is. Giving readers the confidence to be themselves, this sets about providing them with a deeper level of insight and understanding when it comes to their own happiness. Experiencing deeper doubts, Kelly explains how to rise above, not letting the reader get pulled down by them. Living with a clear sense of passion and purpose, this provides a straightforward set of actions for the reader to undertake to help better themselves and their life.
This is definitely a book that will help the reader, as not only does it help identify the problem, but it also outlines advice to work around the issue.
