Navy Seal Security

Navy Seal Security is the introduction to the Brothers in Arms Series. Army saves a man from drawn not knowing the kind of mess that she is getting herself into by the simple act. Riley has to show army that he is thankful and offer her protection against a cartel that wants her dead.

Army has just finished her shift when she notices a man floating in the water, and she jumps in to save him from drawing. Riley was involved in a covert operation that went sideways which almost saw him dead. The cartel immediately starts hunting the two forcing them to get on the run as the same cartel runs deep and well connected.

Riley is a handsome, sexy and interesting guy to be with which pulls Army more and more towards him even in the midst of danger that they find themselves. He had been called from service into a covert mission to find a colleague who goes missing. He, however, has some issues with his past including the passing on of his wife which trickle back to when he was in service. From the moment that he and his victim arrive on the beach rescued by Army, they develop a liking for each other which grows over time.

The army arrives home to find her ex-boyfriend murdered on the floor of her kitchen. She calls in the help of Riley to unravel the mystery that led to this killing. She is unaware that the kind act of saving a drawing man has landed her in the middle of an international intruder that might even cost her life. She is also unaware that her ex-boyfriend has set her up with the dangerous group of drug lords.

The book is an easy read with lots of suspense, action and menacing situation. Additionally, it has excellently described romantic scene making it an enjoyable story.

Mountain Ranger Recon

Second in the Brothers in Arms series is Mountain Ranger Recon. A second chance at love could get Ian Dempsey and meg killed which is one among the many surprises that await the two.

Ian and meg had been married, but as a result of the messy work that Ian had, they got temporally separated. Ian works as a secret agent and realizing that meg could end up in danger as a result of his job had to leave. Meg decided to move on and make her life after this incidence. However, fate ends up bringing them together and under the same circumstances that Ian feared. Meg currently works as a mountain ranger where they meet with Ian after three years of being apart while he is on an assignment.

When they meet, Ian has no time to explain himself before shots are fired making him swing into action to protect Meg. Meg will not leave his side until she is guaranteed of safety and more for their son. Meg and Ian had lots of things that they needed to work out and especially with the presence of their son who looked exactly like his father, Ian. Meg and Ian have a rocky and rough journey that they have to travel before they can set their house in order as staying apart is no longer an option.

Carol is an expert storyteller introducing lots of action, suspense, and romance-red-hot romance. She has an incredible way of introducing something that goes to the opposite of what the reader might be expecting to happen. As you read through the twist and turns that the author has developed ion this story, it will seem more like you are in the lives of her characters. The exciting and gripping read is one that you must read.

Top Gun Guardian

Top Gun Guardian is the third book in her brothers in arms series. Raven was the kind of a lady that believed that she could not be a mother or a wife who put his ex-boyfriend buzz Richardson away. The presence of a child that she is supposed to protect together with Richardson will change this stance.

Richardson had always stood with one rule in his life- handle the unexpected. He had previously served in the navy as a pilot and also as a covert operative all through being saved by the same rule. Raven is a translator working with the UN who entirely seems to have no place for a family of her own. Raven takes over the responsibility of protecting a young child, Malika who is being hunted by an unknown assassin. Richard is responsible for protecting the two from this unknown assassin.

Richardson is suffering on the inside with guilt after the death of his parents. Raven, on the other hand, realizes that she can be a parent changing her former stand. While Richardson is occupied with finding the person that is after Raven and Malika, Raven is slowly learning to accept the role of a mother making her reconsider her broken relationship with Richardson. The two had complete opposite on the issue of marriage and parenthood, but the issue of protecting Malika brings them together regenerating their past feelings.

Top Gun Guardian is an action-packed story that adds lots of suspense keeping you tuned from page to page. The story is also romantic with a love line that at first seems impossible to repair but ends up being red-hot romantic. Carol Ericson is wonderful a natural storyteller.
