Frank Wheeler technically goes by the full name of Frank Wheeler Junior. His father was a preacher and he was born in Tennessee in Memphis. He has since lived in a variety of states through the U.S., including Texas, Minnesota, Colorado, New Mexico, Nebraska, and Maryland. While he was residing in Nebraska he enrolled in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. There he studied English and graduated with his B.A. as well as his M.A. in the field of English studies.

He is married to his wife Marie. Even though the two of them love to see new places, the couple puts forth their best effort to attempt and reside in just one place instead of several. This is also helped along by the fact that the author is employed in Lincoln at a community college teaching in Nebraska, where they call home.

Frank Wheeler Jr. wrote the original script for the 2015 movie Your Blind Spot. Directed by Paul von Stoetzel, the movie stars Ethan Bjellend, Edwin Strout, and Matthew Kelly. The movie is a crime story set in a small town somewhere in the Midwest. In the film the main character is called Pup, and is a con that has just been released out into the real world. When he gets the chance to get further ahead in the world of organized crime, it’s a tempting fast track. But when the con realizes that the opportunity requires murder to get there, will he still go through with it?

Frank Wheeler is the creator and the author of the Westward Saga Western series. This series started off with The Lone Star Rider, which was first released for readers to enjoy in 2020. Main character Amos Cole is a rancher, and when it comes to life, he appreciates the simple things. He isn’t attracted to glitz or glamor; he knows that they are fleeting. He only cares about his family and the ranch that he oversees. Drama starts up when a group that calls themselves the Dusk Riders start going to towns close by and destroying them. Amos doesn’t want to be part of the whole thing and initially keeps himself separate.

Amos thinks that the only way to keep from getting caught up with the Riders is to keep to himself. The only thing that he didn’t count on was encountering someone like Larsen Wells. Larsen is a tough guy that is used to getting whatever he wants because when he sees something that he wants, he takes it. This is particularly bad news when it comes to Amos’s sister. Then the Dusk Riders eventually target Amos’s ranch, and the rancher is infuriated. When they come to raid him, battle is the only option left to this rancher. He’s not only going to do everything in his power to protect his family, but he’s going to keep these intruders off of his land and bring them to justice if it’s the last thing that he does.

Meanwhile, a woman named Norma Conway is ready to join the battle. She’s been angry ever since Larsen’s crew came out to assault her wagon and has kept a secret ever since. She’s ready to get her revenge, and has a gun to help her do it. She’s going to need Amos to assist her if she wants to get her vengeance and stop Larsen.

Amos will not stop going until Larsen and his men are put away and stop terrorizing the local people. Can he put an end to the evil that is Larsen with the help of Norma? Or will the people be subjected to the terror that is Larsen for some time yet? Read this novel to find out how the story ends!
