Jillian Eaton
Jillian Eaton grew up in Maine, and was blessed with loving parents and one annoying little sister (who is not annoying anymore but will always be thought of as little). She spent her days riding horses, building fairy houses in the woods behind her house, and writing stories.
Some of her favorite authors include: Nora Roberts, Judith McNaught, Lisa Kleypas, Eloisa James, and Stephen King.
Jillian loves coffee, horses, ducks, bubblegum ice cream, staying up late to finish a good novel. But she’s not too fond of laundry, math in all forms, alarm clocks, always being late for everything, heights, and cooking.
“A Duke for the Holidays” is the first novel in the “Love and Rogues” series and was released in 2015. Can this shy wallflower steal the heart of England’s most notorious bachelor in time for Christmas?
Merry Clearwater, a shy wallflower that relates more to animals than she does to people, has got zero intention of falling in love ever, until this one night when she captures the attention of the most unlikely of suitors: the enigmatic and powerful Duke of Kendalwood.
Kendalwood, as one of the wealthiest men in all of England, has never lacked for any female companionship and soft-spoken and plain Merry is precisely the type of woman that he typically overlooks. However right from the instant he meets her demure gaze from across the table at this one dinner party, the duke’s helplessly intrigued.
Kendalwood and Merry’s chemistry is undeniable, however can this stuttering wallflower steal the heart of this notorious bachelor?
“The Winter Duchess” is the first novel in the “A Duchess for All Seasons” series and was released in 2017. Their wedding was the event of the season, however it was never meant to be a love match. Or was it?
Caroline, a shy wallflower, hasn’t the faintest idea why the Duke of Readington picked her to be his bride. She could ask, however that’d mean speaking to the guy, and truth be told she would much rather talk to the devil. Her new husband might be one of the most powerful guys in all of England, not to mention the most handsome, however he is also callous, cruel, and has got a heart colder than ice.
Eric married Caroline for a simple reason: he was not in love with her. Having seen firsthand just how love is able to bring a guy to his knees, he is determined to not make the same mistakes that his dad did. Which is why he’ll spend only enough time with this new bride of his to assure himself an heir before he leaves her and goes on back to London. At least this was the plan up until a winter storm leaves them stranded. Now every time he turns around Eric finds that he’s stumbling over the wife that he never wanted, yet is now slowly starting to desire.
There’s a cold wind howling outside their manor, while inside of it one duke’s heart is starting to finally melt while he finds himself falling for the one woman that he was never supposed to love, however can she love him in return?
“The Winter Duke” is the first novel in the “A Duke for All Seasons” series and was released in 2019. Cadence, after getting rebuffed by her betrothed, flees to her brother-in-law’s isolated estate in the English countryside in order to escape the humiliation of being left at the altar. Cadence, as Christmas rapidly approaches, intends to spend her holiday locked in her room with some chocolate. The Duke of Colebrook, fortunately for her, has got other ideas.
Justin Dearborn, Duke of Colebrook, who is renowned throughout all of London for his long string of lovers, is not looking for a bride. Having been spurned in the past, he’s got zero intention of putting his heart on the line again. Until a passionate kiss with Cadence leaves them both yearning for more.
Christmas is right around the corner, can these two wounded hearts find the courage to love again? Or is this an affair which isn’t going to make it to the New Year?
“Winning the Earl of Winchester” is the first novel in the “Secret Wallflower Society” series and was released in 2019. Miss Calliope Haversham has got eighteen days. Eighteen days before she turns 21 and officially becomes a spinster, and when that happens her inheritance gets passed on to Beatrice, her loathsome cousin. She’ll have to either marry some stranger or lose everything she’s got.
However Calliope is not worried. She’s got a plan. One which involves a little luck, the help of her daring best friend, and the curmudgeonly (albeit quite handsome) Earl of Winchester. All that she must do is secure an invite to London’s most elite ball (which she’s got no hope of receiving), convince the Earl to dance, and get him to propose before the night’s over. How tough can it really be?
“Bewitched by the Bluestocking” is the first novel in the “Perks of Being an Heiress” series and was released in 2021. Thomas Kincaid (British private investigator) believes he has seen it all, until this soaking wet and beautiful American shows up and demands that he help her find this stolen family heirloom. Having had his heart stomped on once before by another beautiful woman, Thomas has no intention of tempting fate again.
However Joanna Thorncroft is not about to take no for an answer. She must find her mom’s ring and learn all of the secrets that it contains. Secrets which made her travel across the Atlantic and onto the doorstep of this sinfully handsome detective.
Even though falling in love is the furthest thing from her mind, Joanna (who is fiercely independent) cannot help but find herself being drawn to Thomas, and the blazing passion which quickly threatens to consume them. However when the scandalous truth about the ring’s history is finally revealed, it changes both the present and the past. If Thomas and Joanna want to have a future together, they have to risk everything in order to get it, including their hearts.
