Bonnie R. Paulson is an inspirational and romance fiction novelist who loves writing sweet contemporary romances set in the Inland Northwest.
She loves writing dirt bikes, her children, and her romantic husband and has always found it easy to transition between the life of a busy mother and the stories she writes.
However, while Bonnie is now a prolific and bestselling other, she still works as a medical transcriptionist, even though she is a certified radiologic technologist.
As such, she often includes some medical elements in all of her novels and never can stay away from dirt bikes and the medical field.
When she is not playing with her children, reading, buzzing around the Rockies, or writing, she can be found experimenting in the kitchen. Much of the time she loves to use original recipes which sometimes end up in her novels.
Her idea of heaven is having a chicken parmigiana sandwich in her hand while sitting on a dirt bike.
Going back to her beginnings, Bonnie has said that as soon as she could hold a pencill she began writing. While she was in high school, she dabbled and never got serious until much later on.
She wrote poems about roses and when she was in college and high school, she started writing a bunch of stories that she never finished.
It happened that a friend who loved reading romance dared her to write one.
Once her friend dared her to start writing fiction she got serious with it and is now one of the best authors who write novels with medical elements, romantic suspense but particularly sweet contemporary romance.
Even though Bonnie has completed many manuscripts in the romantic suspense genre, she has chosen to focus on contemporary romance as it is the genre she enjoys best.
Moreover, she believes that the advice she received from numerous authors, editors, and agents over the years telling her to focus on one genre is valid as it has brought her much success.
Bonnie R. Paulson got the idea while rushing to the emergency room with her mentor who had suffered some self-inflicted gunshot wound trauma to the head.
While she was recovering in the break room of the hospital she began writing the first few pages of her novel. She completed the manuscript of her debut novel while she was in the hospital soon after delivering her fourth kid in 2010.
As soon as she was done writing it, she started sending submissions out and got some resubmits and revision requests from a few editors. While she was waiting for those results, she sent her original manuscript to her current publisher and forgot all about it.
Within six months of submitting her novel, she got a call from Angela of Carina with an offer. While she initially thought Angela James was a telemarketer, when she explained and asked if she had any questions, she felt like throwing up.
She published “Breathe Again” her debut novel in 2011 and has not stopped writing ever since. Paulson now has more than ninety works of fiction to her name that include several series, single-standing novels, and contributions to series by other novelists.
“Broken Trails” by Bonnie R. Paulson is a beautiful romance fiction work that tells the stories of Emma Benson and Nate Rourke.
They were high school sweethearts who had their entire lives in front of them but everything changed when her childhood illness came back with a vengeance. She had to drop out of school as she had to visit the hospital numerous times.
Being too proud to tell Nate that she had a debilitating illness she dumped him without any explanation. Since that time she endured a difficult life since her father hardly has any money for food while the medical bills are only making things worse.
Since she does not intend to be a burden on anyone, she focuses on her family and her health.
Years later, Nate is a 23-year-old caring for his younger sister following the death of his parents. He is struggling to take care of his siblings and keep the ranch running when Emma makes a comeback into his life.
He believes they might be friends and wants her back in his life. But since his younger siblings all depend on him and he has no way of earning money to save the family ranch, he believes it is just too much and there is no hope.
“Forbidden Trails” by Bonnie R. Paulson is an interesting romance fiction work that tells of a woman who falls for a man who is on the hunt for the thing she holds very dear.
To earn money, Jareth Darby works as a ranch hand and travels anywhere work may be found which satisfies his wanderlust and calms down his fear of one day settling down. However, strong as he is he cannot fight off the desire to protect a damsel in distress.
Since her parents are on the list of the 50 richest people in the United States, Cyan Burns can afford to have expectations of the world in addition to being very principled.
She is currently working on saving the Gray wolves of North America which has been one of her pet projects for years. It was while she was out there in the severe winter, that she met the rugged Montana cowboy Cyan whose attraction she could not ignore.
However, they will soon clash since Cyan hates anyone who kills wolves for pelts while he believes there is nothing wrong with hunting them.
Can she convince him that she and the wolves are worth fighting for.
Bonnie R. Paulson’s novel “Unbridled Trails” is another brilliant addition to the “Montana Trails” series of novels. The lead is an entomologist and a big girl who prefers her insects to people.
Sherry was at a bar when a bully predator named Guy tried to drug her and were it not for Kyle something bad would have happened to her. It was at that time that their troubles began as they are strongly attracted even though they try to deny it.
Karby does not intend to remain a lonely ranch hand forever and believes he can change his life if he can help his cousin run his ranch. However, now that he has met Sherry things are never going to be all about making ranch foreman as he cannot get her out of his mind.
The problem is that she is not interested in dating let alone anything normal people would do as she prefers to study bugs. Even though he had saved her, she does not believe he has a sincere interest in her.
She is so used to saving her heart and herself but maybe it is time she learns that sometimes she has to depend on someone else.
