Order of Mortal Instruments Books
Mortal Instruments is a series of young adult urban fantasy novels by American author Cassandra Clare. The series follows 15 year-old Clary Fray as she learns of the existence of a group of warriors called Shadowhunters, whose mission is to rid the world of demons. The series was optioned for film by Unique Features and Constantin Film.
Mortal Instruments is a six book series – five of which have been published to date. Clare is also writing a prequel series called Infernal Devices. Below is the order of when Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments books were released in publication order, which is also their chronological order:
