Order of Shannara Books
Shannara is an epic fantasy series of novels by American author Terry Brooks. The series deals with the blending of magic and primitive technology. It is set in a fictional world called Four Lands, which appears to be Earth following the destruction of civilization during the Great Wars.
Terry Brooks began the Shannara series in 1977 when he began the Original Shannara Trilogy with The Sword of Shannara. While the Shannara series was not published in chronological order, Terry Brooks himself recommends that you read the books in their publication order. Below is a list of Terry Brooks’ Shannara books in order of when they were originally released as well as in chronological order:
